January Update
January 2008

Happy New Year! We hope you have all had a great start to a new year. We really enjoyed our time at home and had an amazing Christmas
with our families!

We are both safely back in Hungary. Eric arrived on December 30th for practice and a game, and I arrived January 7th. After a week or so of
jet lag, we are back on schedule! :)

Basketball
Eric's ankle has healed up nicely! Thank you all for praying! He has been wearing his ankle braces he brought back from home, and he's
playing consistently well. His team, however, has struggled the last few games because of several issues. Please pray for this, and for wisdom
for Eric.

Teaching
I am still really enjoying my teaching sessions! I am still working with Adel and Bogi on a regular basis, and am now meeting once a week with a
very sweet girl named Annamária, as well. I enjoy just talking with her. She speaks English very well, and speaking with me forces her to only
speak our language. I am also meeting with Jeff's (Eric's teammate from Brazil) girlfriend who came back with him after Christmas. She speaks
Portuguese, so those sessions are a little more challenging! :) Teaching these 'students' has taken me out of my comfort zone, but I am having
so much fun!

Weather
The several feet of snow we had here has all melted and we have been seeing signs of spring over the past few days. It's been warmer this
week (50-60 F) but I still think we will see more snow. Everyone I talk to says that the winter is not over yet, and not to get my hopes up for
warmer weather! Eric and I sure have enjoyed the little warmth this week, though!

I know some of you have been asking about when we will be heading back home. Eric's last game is towards the end of April; they play
Zalakerámia on April 18th. If they make the playoffs we will stay into May. If not, we will probably be heading home the beginning of May. We
may want to extend our stay in Europe and do a small amount of traveling....We'll see what happens!

Thanks again for your prayers! We love and miss you all!

Love,
Eric and Kellie
